Deputy Care Home Manager

We are seeking a values-driven Deputy Care Home Manager to support the leadership of a warm, person-centred residential service. This role is ideal for an experienced care leader who combines operational confidence with genuine compassion and who is ready to influence quality, culture, and outcomes at senior level.

Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will help shape a safe, compliant, and nurturing environment where residents are truly known, respected, and empowered. You will lead by example, support staff development, and ensure the highest standards of care are consistently delivered.

• • Support the overall management and day-to-day running of the home
• • Lead, motivate, and develop senior carers and care teams
• • Champion person-centred care, dignity, and choice at all times
• • Ensure compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding, and regulatory requirements
• • Support care planning, risk management, and clinical oversight
• • Drive continuous improvement, audits, and quality initiatives
• • Deputise for the Registered Manager when required

• • Proven experience in a senior role within residential care
• • Strong knowledge of CQC frameworks and best practice
• • Confident people manager with a calm, supportive leadership style
• • Passion for delivering compassionate, relationship-led care
• • Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Level 5 desirable or willingness to work towards)
