Job Description & How to Apply Below
Fair Shares is a new project of Eco-Friendly Garforth, funded for one year by the National Lottery. It aims to engage young people in the town with a positive response to the climate emergency by learning how to live within and share more fairly, the Earth’s resources.
We need someone who can, on a self-employed basis:
- organise a youth group for young people aged 12-14
- organise a series of holiday workshops on sustainability topics (e.g. bike repairs, upcycled fashion, basic woodwork etc) for 14 – 17 year olds
- support someother volunteer-led activities of Eco-friendly Garforth.
It will require, on average, about 50hrs work per month – though there will be significant variation in this from month to month. The hourly rate for this work will be £20. We expect the work to commence around the beginning of May.
