Financial Accountant – Contract Role

Pay Range: $28.84–$33.65/hour

Type: 3-Month Contract

Schedule: Onsite in Garland, TX| Monday–Friday | 8 AM–5 PM

Overview:

Out Client is seeking a hands-on Financial Accountant II to support the integration of a newly acquired company. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in general ledger accounting, month-end close, budgeting, and variance analysis—especially within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
• Conduct month-end and year-end close processes
• Perform budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies
• Support inventory and cost accounting activities
• Assist with integration and system improvements
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold accounting standards
• Provide financial insights to operations and leadership
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Experience in manufacturing preferred
• Strong GL accounting and financial reporting skills
• Proficient in budgeting and variance analysis
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative
