As a Park Supervisor, you oversee the daily operations of the park, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and efficient experience for visitors. You supervise staff, implement operational procedures, and maintain high standards of customer service. Park Supervisors are the main contact between guests and Kids Empire, responsible for guest satisfaction, resolving complaints, and addressing questions or comments from guests while they are present.
Interaction with families and children of all ages is required.
- Attending to guests promptly, greeting them, and ensuring they feel welcome in the park ambiance.
- Supervises employees to ensure they perform their duties satisfactorily and achieve production goals.
- Assist the Park Manager with training, development, and auditing.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment among park staff.
- Audit schedules and obtain necessary approvals from the Park Manager.
- Open and close the park using keys or a code.
- Communicate guest or employee issues to the Park Manager.
- Operate the check-in process by having guests sign liability waivers and collect guest information (address, name, email, phone) using an iPad.
- Operate the front cash counter, process payments (cash or card), and provide exact change when needed; manage daily cash flow.
- Verify billing transactions on the POS.
- Organize and stock the refrigerator with drinks, snacks, chips, and ice cream; monitor snack inventory and reorder from specified vendors as needed.
- Walk the floor regularly to monitor for unsafe hazards and ensure guests follow park rules and guidelines.
- Clean restrooms and sanitize all park structures (tables, chairs, playground equipment).
- Schedule and coordinate family events and assist events to operate efficiently.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Stand, walk, bend, and twist constantly.
- Frequent bilateral hand movements and good finger dexterity.
- Work in noisy environments with children and music.
- Thrive in a hectic and busy work environment during peak hours.
- Work in a structured environment and be comfortable with heights.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Weekend and holiday availability.
- Able to work with children and operate an iPad.
- Good communication, customer service, and conflict resolution skills.
- Leadership and strong organizational skills.
- Decision-making ability in a fast-paced environment and a commitment to guest satisfaction and safety.
- Ability to work independently and read/write English.
