Raytheon ASDS is an onboard opportunity within the Estimating & Pricing organization for a Manager, Estimating & Pricing. This is an onsite position located in Richardson, TX. U.S. citizenship is required and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI security clearance is mandatory.
What You Will Do- All pricing support functions from pre‑RFP activities through proposal negotiations.
- Cultivate a cohesive proposal team, drive compliance to FAR/DFARS, RFP, and Estimating System requirements, create complex cost models, and develop robust cost rationale, tests of reasonableness, audit responses, and negotiation strategy.
- Plan, lead and perform pricing and cost proposal development in accordance with customer requirements and current government regulations, laws and company policies.
- Perform the duties of a cost volume manager including the analysis of customer requirements, proposal strategy development, proposal development and production, and coordination and interface with other organizations involved in the proposal process.
- Communicate with various functions and Business unit leadership at all levels.
- Effectively organize and lead a pricing team.
- Lead and conduct pricing support for customer fact‑find activity and government audits.
- Provide training and mentoring to junior pricing analysts to ensure organizational capabilities are met and individual growth is accomplished.
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience.
- Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), TINA, and/or other Government Procurement regulations as they pertain to Bid/Cost proposals.
- Experience with MS Office tools.
- Experience in proposing different contract types (CPFF, CPIF, CPAF, FPIF, T&M, Incentive Fee) with an understanding of financial implications on program implementation of each contract type.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and be detail oriented.
- Experience with Pro Pricer Software.
- Experience working on competitive and sole source proposals in excess of $100 million.
- Experience with International Pursuit pricing.
- Active Security Clearance (SSCI desired).
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and mentor a team of junior pricing analysts.
- Able to work both independently and as an integral team member in a highly dynamic work environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with demonstrated experience briefing all levels of Management.
The salary range for this role is $101,000 USD – $203,000 USD.
