LHH is partnering with a privately owned organization as they seeking a hands-on and approachable Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations and serve as a strategic business partner to leadership and employees. This role is essential to maintaining a positive workplace culture and supporting a high-performing, field-based workforce. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in benefits administration, HR compliance, and employee relations, along with a friendly, professional presence and the ability to connect with employees at all levels.

This role is 100% on-site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day HR functions including employee relations, policy administration, and performance support.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
  • Manage all aspects of employee benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability plans.
  • Coordinate and lead annual open enrollment, employee communications, and vendor relations.
  • Analyze benefits utilization and make recommendations to improve plan offerings and cost efficiency.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for employee benefits questions and issue resolution.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to managers and employees to support engagement and retention.
  • Oversee onboarding, offboarding, and employee support programs that reflect company values.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with strong emphasis on benefits administration.
  • Prior experience supporting field or blue-collar employee populations is highly preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, onsite environment.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
