Amazon Web Services (AWS) – Infrastructure Services – Design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, supporting data centers and network systems.

We are expanding and need a motivated Network Deployment Project Lead to join our Infrastructure Delivery team. The role owns end‑to‑end medium to large‑scale data center cabling deployments – migrations, new sites, and new regions.

• Initial cabling planning, installation, validation, and quality assessment.
• Engage external contractors, including newly onboarded cabling vendors.
• Plan and collaborate with stakeholders to determine device and cabling requirements, schedule resources, engage vendors, and provide continuous status reporting.
• Install, rack and stack networking devices, run and patch fiber cabling, and configure devices using automation tools and CLI.
• Validate, troubleshoot devices, and stress test prior to capacity delivery.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% including local and international assignments throughout AMER.

• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience with Linux operating systems.
• Ability to lift and rack equipment up to 40 lbs.
• Computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Knowledge of network design, protocols and troubleshooting.

• Work in cramped spaces or elevated locations while adhering to health & safety guidelines.
• Effectively resolve customer issues and perform under pressure.
• Manage work and priorities through a ticketing system.
• Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies.
• Data center experience: rack/stack gear, cable management, hot/cold aisle containment.

Base pay ranges from $55,900/year to $125,100/year, depending on geographic market. Total compensation may include equity, sign‑on payments, and other benefits. Salary information may vary based on experience and location.
