Position Summary

The Production Support Manager is responsible for ensuring all commercial projects within their assigned market are fully prepared, organized, and supported prior to and during field execution. This position serves as the operational bridge between the Project Management team, Field Operations, and Production Leadership, ensuring every job begins with proper readiness, materials, equipment, and communication in place. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Production, the Production Support Manager oversees daily pre‑field logistics, manages staging and delivery of materials and equipment, supports jobsite visits, and ensures all company assets are maintained and available for deployment.

This position is hands‑on and fast‑paced, playing a vital role in the successful delivery of Ram Jack’s commercial projects.

Project Readiness & Pre‑Field Coordination
  • Coordinate all project preparation tasks to ensure job readiness prior to crew mobilization.
  • Prepare and distribute project documentation, material lists, and installation plans in coordination with Project Managers and the Senior Manager of Production.
  • Conduct pre‑jobsite visits to confirm accessibility, safety, staging areas, and equipment requirements.
  • Ensure permits, utility locates, and client communications are completed and documented before job start.
  • Prepare and distribute complete job packets for field teams, including drawings, instructions, and safety documentation.
  • Track readiness status for each upcoming project and report weekly to the Senior Manager of Production.
Logistics, Materials, and Equipment
  • Manage the ordering, staging, and delivery of materials and tools required for scheduled projects.
  • Coordinate with vendors, warehouse staff, and transportation teams to maintain efficient job flow.
  • Oversee inventory levels of commercial materials and consumables to ensure availability and minimize delays.
  • Support the Senior Manager of Production in maintaining and tracking all assets, vehicles, and specialized installation equipment assigned to the market.
  • Schedule maintenance and inspections of tools, vehicles, and machinery to ensure operational reliability and safety compliance.
  • Ensure all material movements, deliveries, and returns are logged accurately and promptly.
Field & Crew Support
  • Serve as the main point of contact for field crews regarding project logistics, materials, and equipment needs.
  • Visit active jobsites as needed to provide support, verify field readiness, and resolve logistical issues.
  • Work closely with the Director and Senior Manager of Production to optimize crew scheduling and equipment allocation.
  • Assist with mobilization and demobilization of projects as required, including setup, staging, and transport coordination.
  • Support crews in maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Asset & Facility Management
  • Maintain responsibility for the market’s production yard, warehouse, and equipment storage.
  • Keep facilities organized, clean, and compliant with company safety and operational standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of vehicles, trailers, and equipment, reporting issues to the Senior Manager of Production.
  • Participate in periodic audits to ensure accurate tracking of tools and inventory.
Safety & Compliance
  • Promote a culture of safety across all production support and field operations activities.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE, tools, and machinery.
  • Report safety incidents, near‑misses, and equipment malfunctions promptly.
  • Assist with implementing and reinforcing Ram Jack’s field and warehouse safety procedures.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Construction Management, Operations, or Logistics preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in construction operations, field support, or logistics coordination.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction processes and field sequencing.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
