Job Summary

Lavon Senior Villas is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations of our senior living community. The ideal candidate will lead a team of maintenance technicians to ensure the property is well-maintained, safe, and comfortable for all residents.

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the maintenance team to ensure timely and efficient completion of work orders.
• Perform routine inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Manage preventive maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime and extend the life of property assets.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and resolve issues effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and equipment repairs.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance staff to promote professional development and high performance.
• Collaborate with property management to plan and execute capital improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to building maintenance and safety.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in maintenance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in using maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and on‑call as needed.

Work Environment

This position is based at Lavon Senior Villas, a senior living community located in Garland, TX. The Maintenance Supervisor will work both indoors and outdoors, often in varying weather conditions, and may be required to lift heavy objects and use various tools and equipment.
