Plant Shipping/Handling - Shipping/Receiving Handler Summary of Job

Responsible for shipping and receiving all goods into the facility. Assist in maintaining the warehouse properly organized and maintained to facilitate the movement of the product.

• Safely drive a forklift to stage material, load trucks, unload trucks and transfer material within the plant and within departments as needed.
• Must be able to process paperwork in SAP use the RF guns.
• Maintain the warehouse, clean and organized daily to ensure the product can be located easily and efficiently.
• Perform daily inventory as needed to provide information for any necessary adjustments.
• Communicate information to the appropriate people.
• Maintain inventory of purchased products and cycle counts.
• Coordinate scrap material storage as needed. Oversee changes to the department storage floor plan.
• Coordinate storage locations.
• Familiar with scheduling systems and procedures.
• Able to communicate information to all levels of management.
• Must be able and willing to change out propane cylinders on the forklift as required.
• Must be able to move scrap into the open top dumpster and in the compactor and scrap trailers.
• Keep work areas clean following 5S guidelines.
• Other miscellaneous responsibilities as deemed necessary.
• May be required to perform material move transactions in SAP system as needed.

• Promote positive teamwork culture.
• Ability to communicate with team effectively and respectfully and during shift transition.
• Prior SAP or similar ERP system knowledge.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, follow standardized work instructions and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement culture.

• Exposure to moving equipment.
• Inside work.
• Humidity may exceed 80%.
• Noise may exceed 85dB+.
• Work in temperatures of 100° plus with high humidity for up to 12‑hour shifts.

• Frequent standing and walking; frequent stoop and squat; frequent bending and some kneeling and crawling; occasional bending and twisting; occasional stair climbing; pushing/pulling 30‑60 pounds of force; occasional reaching; repetitive use of wrist, hands, and fingers; frequent use of shoulders, elbows, hips, knees and ankles.
• Must be physically able to operate powered industrial equipment such as forklifts.
• Must be able to move safely throughout the facility as needed.
• Must follow all safety rules and policies.

• Full time.
• Shift work 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM (M-F).
• Overtime expected per business demand.

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year manufacturing preferred.
