Lathe​/Mill; Setup) Operator

Full Time positions for Lathe/Mill Setup Operators

• Oversee and coordinate machining operations and activities
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion
• Load and unload equipment and materials
• Be able to setup/operate CNC FANUC control
• Precise setting of all tool offsets
• Must have mathematical skills for calculating set-up requirements, including basic math, geometry and trigonometry.
• Set up and operate machines with little supervision
• Able to read and understand Engineering drawings/blueprints
• Able to plan machining process, study work orders, drawings, materials, specifications, and machine capabilities
• Interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T) and read drawings
• Must be familiar with G-Code machine language
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on machines

• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• Previous experience in plant operations or other related fields
• Familiarity with plant tools and equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Ability to oversee physical workload
• 3, 4 & 5 axis CNC Horizontal setup
• Knowledge of FANUC controls
• Functional and Technical skills
• Read and edit programs
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in CNC mill machining
