Garland Independent School District is seeking qualified candidates for the position of substitute nurse.
The appointee will report directly to the Principal / Director of Health Services and will be responsible for performing duties when the regular school nurse is absent.
The person will work closely with students, parents, and campus staff.
QualificationsThe Substitute Nurse will hold a valid license to practice nursing in the State of Texas.
Preference will be given to applicants who- Have successful experience in the nursing field
- Demonstrate effective communication, public relations and interpersonal skills
- Possess strong assessment skills
- Exhibit the ability to work well with students
- Have a service oriented personality
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the administration may find appropriate and acceptable.
Daily Rate: $225 / day (Tuesday thru Thursday) | $235 / day (Friday and Monday)
