Part Time Veterinarian - Jersey Village, TX

Position: In‑Home Veterinarian

Location: Greater Houston and surrounding areas such as Jersey Village, Park Row, Kohrville, Westfield, Rose Hill, Texas.

Base pay: $85,000.00‑$ per year.

The Heartstrings Pet Hospice & In‑Home Euthanasia & Aftercare seeks a compassionate, empathetic veterinarian to meet pet families in their homes during difficult times. Our mission is to help pets pass peacefully in the comfort of their own home, while providing support to the families and the community.

• Provide in‑home euthanasia and hospice care for geriatric and terminally ill pets.
• Guide families in making end‑of‑life decisions for their pets.
• Build relationships with local veterinary clinics, serving as an extension of their excellent care.

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, BVMS).
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a practicing veterinarian.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb unassisted and up to 100 lb assisted.
• Physical capability to walk, kneel, bend, crouch, crawl, stoop, stand, and reach consistently during the workday.
• Comfortable with prolonged periods of driving.
• Demonstrated manual dexterity and fine‑motor skills, sustaining steady hands while using medical tools.
