• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with general public and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certificate

• Assist in the proper maintenance of the store, particularly in the Produce Department and assist customers on the store floor as needed.
• Properly bag groceries for customers when needed.
• Carry out groceries for customers when requested.
• Maintain and retrieve store carts.
• Run price checks.
• Assist with go‑backs, check stand upkeep, and remove waste from the parking area.
• Ensure the store remains clean and safe at all times.

The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store. Essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements.
