PositionSummary
We are seeking a highly motivated and mechanically skilled Service Technician to join our growing team. This role involves hands‑on technical work in the field—performing startup, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair services for a wide range of HVAC systems including cooling towers, pumps, heat exchangers, VFDs, chillers, air handlers, and hydronic accessories.
Key Responsibilities- Perform field service tasks on HVAC systems with minimal supervision
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues
- Conduct preventative maintenance and system startups in accordance with factory standards
- Accurately document work performed, labor hours, and materials used
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and internal teams
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Identify and propose system improvements or retrofit opportunities to support customer success
- 3‑7 years of relevant experience in HVAC service or a related mechanical field
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals
- Familiarity with key product categories such as pumps, towers, chillers, VFDs, boilers, and air handlers
- Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs., climb ladders, and work in mechanical rooms or rooftops
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
