Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic
The City of Garland is seeking a diesel/heavy-duty technician to repair and maintain city trucks and equipment. You may also work on small engine equipment, electric and gas carts, forklifts, and trailers, with duties including diagnostics, parts ordering, and shop maintenance.
Strong toward hands-on maintenance and safety. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of related experience, basic hand tools, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.
