Dockworker; Hostler

Qualifications

• Minimum: 18 years of age, valid driver’s license, basic math skills, and ability to pass company‑paid physical test.
• Must be available to work varied shifts—including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
• Preferred:
  Dock/warehouse experience in transportation, forklift operation in freight/less‑than‑truckload, trailer loading/unloading, strong written and verbal communication, and keen attention to detail.

• Move trailers and load freight at least one day per week using pallet jack, forklift, or other motorized equipment.
• Operate hostler in all weather conditions, safely walking and standing for extended periods on a non‑climate‑controlled dock.
• Safely operate heavy equipment, including moving and connecting/disconnecting a converter dolly (≈128 lbs).
• Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Lift objects up to 50 lbs frequently and occasionally >70 lbs, reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel as required.
• Adhere to company safety policies and maintain a safe, efficient work environment.

• Hourly wage starting at $29.66 for experienced forklift operators.
