Commercial Roofing Construction Manager (Floater) – North Carolina
Highland Roofing is growing, and we’re on the lookout for a hands‑on, experienced Construction Manager to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety and is open to traveling across our service areas in North Carolina (Wilmington/Raleigh/Charlotte). You’ll work closely with our project managers and subcontractors to keep commercial roofing projects running smoothly from start to finish.
WhatYou’ll Be Doing
- Keep an eye on job sites to make sure everything’s safe and up to spec
- Be the go‑to person for crews and help delegate tasks to keep things moving
- Order and schedule labor, materials, and equipment after the project manager’s initial setup
- Stay on top of inventory so we don’t run into delays
- Solve problems on site with GCs and crews – within scope and budget
- Make sure safety is always a top priority
- Solid experience with low‑slope roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, Modified Bitumen, metal). Shingles are a bonus!
- At least 3 years in a construction manager or superintendent role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Self‑starter who can manage time and priorities independently
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather and doing physical tasks
- Good with numbers – especially for material calculations
- Organized, adaptable, and ready to juggle multiple projects

Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 per year
