Physician, Family Medicine - Primary Care and Urgent Care Blend - Garner

Overview

The Wake Med Physician for MyCare 365 provides high-quality clinical care within an innovative, walk-in primary care model. MyCare 365 redefines the patient experience by offering comprehensive primary care on a walk-in basis, integrated with expanded services for acute medical needs. We are seeking a physician who approaches their role with a sense of clinic ownership, treating the practice with the same dedication, leadership, and accountability as a private practice owner.

In this role, you will drive the success of your site by fostering a culture of superior patient service and clinical excellence. Responsibilities include ensuring precise coding and corporate compliance, and overseeing the general management of the practice so it thrives within the community. The Physician also provides essential mentorship and supervision to Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) within the division.

The Physician reports directly to the Director of the assigned division and is expected to champion the mission, values, and management of Wake Med Physician Practices (WPP) and Wake Med Health & Hospitals.

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are preferred;
Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
