Junior Child Welfare Instructional Designer - Local NC only
Contract Duration: 12+ Months

Pay Rate: $30/hr on W2 or $34/hr on C2C/1099 all-inclusive
Travel: Up to 30% statewide (evenings/weekends possible; expenses reimbursed per state protocol)
Position OverviewSupport the training and implementation of a Child Welfare Information System (CWIS) by analyzing functionality, developing classroom facilitator‑led solutions, and creating eLearning courses. Collaborate with training leads, business/Agile teams, developers, and SMEs to design materials, maintain Adobe Frame Maker templates/scripts, and deliver engaging training for Child Welfare program administrators. Facilitate in‑person, virtual, and webinar sessions for adult learners at all levels.
Required Qualifications- 3+ years in curriculum design and developing training materials for adult learners.
- 3+ years understanding social services programs (county/regional/state level).
- 3+ years experience with business analysis, MS Office Suite, LMS technology (Moodle, XML, HTML), and computer‑based training design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Frame Maker, Captivate, Camtasia, Photoshop, Visio or similar tools.
- Experience leading in‑person, virtual, and webinar training sessions.
- Strong skills in interactive content creation, learner evaluation, and classroom training processes.
- NC FAST/NC Medicaid knowledge (2+ years), software/hardware support, web technology, and clear communication with diverse groups.
