Medical Assistant with Phlebotomy Experience

We love our Carolina Elite work family and are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. The right candidate will be highly motivated, caring, have MA and phlebotomy experience, and enjoy interacting with patients and office visitors.

• Take and record patients' medical histories and vitals
• Prepare exam rooms for clinical procedures and routine visits
• Perform data entry in Athena to document patient records
• Monitor storage and inventory of office supplies
• Prepare and administer medications under the direction of the supervising provider
• Adhere to laboratory safety policies and procedures
• Assist providers during exams
• Assist in the recovery of patients with adverse reactions

• Proficient in patient care techniques and procedures
• Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
• Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording patient information
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently

• Requires high school diploma or GED
• Completion of a Medical Assisting program preferred

• Phlebotomy experience preferred
• Medical Assistant experience preferred
• Familiarity with electronic medical software and equipment
• Salary expectations must fall within the range listed
• Certified Medical Assistant Certification (Preferred)
