As a Level 1 Account Manager in our Medium Voltage division, you’ll be the first line of contact for customers purchasing medium‑voltage related products. Your mission is to keep accounts happy, grow repeat business, and make every interaction positive and productive — no Engineering degree required, just a standout attitude and a drive to learn.
Responsibilities
- Account Ownership – Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned book of customers; respond to phone/email inquiries, process quotes and orders, and track delivery status.
- Relationship Building – Develop trust with buyers, contractors, and distributors; follow up proactively to uncover new opportunities and resolve issues fast.
- Sales Support – Collaborate with inside sales, engineering, and operations teams to create accurate quotes, ensure technical requirements are met, and expedite orders when needed.
- Problem‑Solving – Investigate order discrepancies or delivery delays, recommend alternatives, and maintain detailed records in the company CRM.
- Reporting – Maintain up‑to‑date account notes, forecast monthly revenue, and provide feedback on market trends and customer needs.
- Continuous Learning – Complete in‑house product and safety training on medium‑voltage equipment to better serve customers and advance to Level 2.
Schedule & Work Loaction
- Hours:
Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (40 hrs/week; overtime rarely required)
Qualifications
- Age: 18 years or older
- Education:
High‑school diploma or equivalent; no college required - Exceptional attitude—positive, eager to help, and solution‑oriented
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Organized and comfortable juggling multiple tasks
- Basic computer proficiency (email, spreadsheets, CRM or ERP software)
- Experience (Nice to Have): 1+ year in account management, customer service, or sales—especially in electrical, industrial, or construction supply environments.
