Warehouse Associate

Join Parksite as a Warehouse Associate I in our distribution center.

$19.00/hr – $22.99/hr

• Operate forklift and overhead crane in our distribution center.
• Pick orders using voice‑picking technology (VoCollect).
• Assist with shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and matching purchase orders to sales orders.
• Arrange slabs properly using a forklift or crane in designated areas.
• Ensure products are well secured on vehicles and all safety measures are taken.
• Maintain the slab warehouse clean and safe for staff and customers.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be picked, checked, and shipped.
• Label new inbound items and move them from receiving to storage areas.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets.
• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate process.
• Assist in counting physical inventory and conducting regular cycle counts.
• Prepare parcels for mailing or Fed Ex delivery.
• Utilize proper safety and personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Perform additional duties as required or requested.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Three months or more related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Forklift, crane, and warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.
• Voice picking experience a plus.
• Lumber/Building product experience.
• Receiving experience.
• Inventory control experience.

• Use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; follow directions through hearing and communicate verbally.
• Frequent walking, standing, and occasional sitting.
• Regularly lift, pull, and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 70 pounds.
• Require close vision.
• This is a safety‑sensitive position.
