POSITION SUMMARY

The incumbent in this position courteously and efficiently provides parking tickets and/or receipts and collects parking fees from patrons at Valet/Coat Check window and lot locations.

Responsibilities

• Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Northern Indiana their choice for gaming entertainment; actively building and retaining guest relations to provide superior service.
• Provides extraordinary guest service, positively affects interactions with customers and team members, and resolves difficult customers.
• Greet customers warmly with a smile and provide an excellent experience.
• Provide directions or general information to patrons.
• Maintain cashier work area clean and neat.
• Remove trash at end of shift.
• Collect appropriate amount of money for parking tickets/receipts.
• Keep money and tickets neat and secure.
• Assist guests with coat check in a friendly and professional manner.
• Issue claim checks for checked items and return items.
• Fill out "Item Release Forms" for expensive furs or leather coats.
• Maintain cleanliness of coatroom.
• Maintain hanger tickets to assure numbers are correct and tickets are in correct slot.
• Inform next shift of any coatroom issues.
• Reconcile daily cash drawer and adhere to cash handling procedures.
• Keep booth secure.
• Attend and participate in meetings, completing follow up as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; two months of on-the-job training or related experience.
• Must obtain and maintain all licenses and certifications per Federal, State, and Indiana Gaming Commission.
• Must successfully pass background check and drug screening.
• Minimum age 21 years.
• Flexible to work holidays, weekends, and varying shifts.

Knowledge & Abilities

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficiency with computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Basic math skills and 10-key calculator usage.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and handle stressful situations with professionalism.
