Customer Service Rep, Casino
HOST - SPORTS BOOK (Part-Time) – Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana
Position SummaryReport to the Sports book Supervisor and work within a team to exceed customer satisfaction expectations by enhancing the player experience through professional, accurate, and timely assistance for all matters related to the Retail and Online Sports book.
Responsibilities- Record wager requests from patrons and input them into the wagering system.
- Manage a cash drawer for taking wagers, making payouts, and reconcile this drawer.
- Detect and advise customers at risk of potential responsible gaming issues.
- Communicate rules, policies, and promotional campaigns to customers.
- Promote and educate patrons on sports-related products and wager types.
- Execute best business practices via Phone, Email, and Live Chat.
- Validate and verify player documentation per company guidelines.
- Review financial transaction history to answer documentation questions.
- Review player game history to answer payout and rule questions.
- Proactively contact players based on real‑time monitoring of events.
- Participate in outbound sales program as time allows.
- Attend seminars when needed.
Education and Experience Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent required. Experience in a casino environment with knowledge of online and/or brick‑and‑mortar casino and sports book operations is a plus.
Additional Requirements (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.)
- Obtain and maintain all required licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Indiana Gaming Commission.
- Pass background check and drug screening.
- Be twenty‑one (21) years of age.
- Work holidays and weekends with flexible shifts.
Knowledge of
- Sports wagering terminology.
- Office procedures, methods, equipment, and common software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Ability to
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing.
- Operate efficiently in a high‑volume work environment.
