About the RoleVanna is looking for a Coach with a passion for supporting individuals with behavioral health challenges to lead fulfilling lives within their communities. Coaches are responsible for engaging members and providing coaching and advocacy, partnering with members to progress toward recovery and thrive. This includes building a trusting relationship, understanding personal goals, and connecting members to resources. Coaches work with clinicians and other specialists to ensure access to a high standard of care, and connect with members in person in the community or at home, as well as by phone, text, and email.

Responsibilities- Engage Vanna members in the community and build trusting relationships with their care team
- Help members create personal action plans and progress toward recovery goals
- Serve as a role model and provide support across all points in recovery
- Provide feedback to Vanna technology and operations teams on existing processes and suggest improvements
- Encourage wellness strategies that support coping skills and management of physical and behavioral health conditions
- Provide physical health coaching to members, as needed (training provided)
Need to Have
- Over two years of direct experience working with people who have a diagnosed serious mental illness in the field and in the community
- Experience working in and around the communities of Lake County
- A valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent
Nice to Have
- Spanish fluency or other languages
- Experience with Substance Abuse Disorders
