Assisting Hands® Home Care – Merrillville is urgently hiring dependable, compassionate Caregivers, Home Health Aides (HHA), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to provide one‑on‑one, non‑medical home care for our client in Crown Point, Indiana.

Part‑Time, Full‑Time, Days, Mornings, Afternoons, Evenings, Overnights, Holidays, After‑School, PRN — 💙 You choose what fits your life!

We currently have immediate day, night, and overnight openings in Crown Point, IN, with additional clients throughout Lake and Porter Counties.

• Provide personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, ambulation)
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and errands
• Provide safe transportation to appointments — including doctor’s visits, therapy, hair appointments, or social outings
• Support mobility and transfers (walker, wheelchair, etc.)
• Provide medication reminders (no medication administration)
• Deliver dementia and Alzheimer’s care with patience and compassion
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment
• Observe and report any changes in the client’s condition

• $14–$16 per hour (based on experience & assignment)

• Must be able to work in and around Lake County & Porter County, Indiana
• Valid driver’s license, insured vehicle, and reliable transportation
• Able to pass a criminal background check
• Current negative TB test (or willing to obtain)
• Current CPR certification (or willing to complete before start date)
• Dependable, compassionate, and trustworthy
• Flexible availability — build a schedule that fits your life
• Experience as a Caregiver, CNA, HHA, PCA, or DSP preferred
