We are seeking a Senior Endpoint Engineer to help architect, automate, secure, and continuously improve a large-scale enterprise endpoint environment.
This team approaches Endpoint Engineering from a Platform Engineering perspective. The environment includes approximately 3,000 endpoints across multiple tenants and is primarily Windows-based, with Microsoft Intune and Entra as core technologies.
This is not a traditional desktop support or endpoint administration role. The ideal candidate is a senior engineer who can combine strong endpoint fundamentals with automation, security, technical leadership, and a platform mindset.
Key Responsibilities- Engineer and evolve the enterprise endpoint platform using Microsoft Intune, Entra , Power Shell, and related Microsoft technologies.
- Own endpoint patching, security, compliance, configuration, application deployment, and device lifecycle management.
- Architect endpoint solutions, establish technical standards, and guide implementation across the team.
- Develop automation using Power Shell and other scripting/automation technologies.
- Identify opportunities to eliminate manual processes and create consistent, repeatable solutions.
- Partner with Security and Identity teams on device compliance, authentication, access, and endpoint security.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
- Maintain strong technical documentation and communicate effectively with internal customers.
- Work within an Agile/sprint-based engineering model and provide technical guidance to other engineers.
- 8-10+ years of progressive IT experience with significant Endpoint Engineering, Digital Workplace, EUC, or Microsoft platform engineering experience.
- Strong enterprise experience with Microsoft Intune and Windows endpoint engineering.
- Strong patch management experience.
- Strong experience with Entra /Azure AD and Microsoft 365.
- Strong Power Shell scripting and automation experience.
- Experience with endpoint security, compliance, configuration, application deployment, and device management.
- Experience partnering with Security, Identity, Infrastructure, and Support teams.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and customer-facing communication skills.
- Self-driven engineer who can work independently, learn new technologies, and operate effectively in a fast-moving environment.
