Procurement Specialist | Data Center Construction | Indiana
I’m supporting a global technology and engineering business seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist for a major data center construction project.
- Location: La Porte or Elkhart, Indiana - on-site
- Duration: 12-18 months, with potential extension
- Pay: $50–$60/hour W-2, depending on experience
- Start: ASAP, subject to availability
- Manage electrical and mechanical long-lead equipment procurement
- Lead RFQ/RFP processes, supplier negotiations, and cost analysis
- Manage purchase orders, scope changes, and change orders
- Represent supply chain in project meetings and align procurement with construction schedules
- 5+ years of procurement or purchasing experience
- A strong track record procuring electrical and mechanical equipment
- Confidence managing suppliers and coordinating with technical project teams
- Strong Excel skills and experience using Power BI
