* Supports Ag Plus' Vision, Mission, and Business Values and follows all company policies and procedures.
* Promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment and provides courteous, professional service to customers and employees.
* Oversees the daily grain and agronomy operations of the South Whitley location, ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
* Manages location expenses, cost controls, budgeting, and inventory levels based on seasonal operational needs.
* Promotes Ag Plus' grain and agronomy products, services, and programs to current and prospective customers.
* Assists in developing annual customer programs that may include soil testing, field mapping, product recommendations, field scouting, timely and accurate application, recordkeeping, and follow-up communication.
* Maintains regular contact with current customers and develops and follows up with prospective customers.
* Oversees grain receiving, drying, storage, conditioning, inventory, and loadout activities while monitoring grain quality to minimize shrink, spoilage, and loss.
* Maintains all grain and agronomy facilities, grounds, vehicles, and equipment in a safe, clean, professional, and dependable condition.
* Manages a preventive maintenance schedule for all grain and agronomy equipment, completes minor repairs when appropriate, and coordinates necessary repairs with outside vendors.
* Identifies needed equipment repairs, replacements, and facility improvements and provides recommendations to the CEO.
* Oversees the hiring, scheduling, supervision, and training of location personnel to ensure duties are performed properly, efficiently, and safely.
* Ensures the South Whitley location complies with applicable governmental regulations, OSHA requirements, and Ag Plus safety procedures, including requirements related to grain handling, bin entry, confined spaces, and lockout/tagout.
* Completes and maintains required operational, inventory, maintenance, safety, and regulatory records.
* Explains company policies, programs, and site operations to customers and employees as needed.
* Adheres to and enforces Ag Plus' established credit policies and guidelines.
* Assists in developing and implementing company policies, procedures, and operational goals.
* Builds and maintains a collaborative working relationship with the Ag Plus management team and other departments.
