T&B Tube is a local steel tube mill manufacturer looking to develop people with strong mechanical backgrounds and experience operating machining equipment. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining our mills that produce steel tubes. Operators ensure that tubing is produced to specification, within quality standards, and in a safe and efficient manner.

• Maintain a safe and healthful work environment by practicing safe work habits, good housekeeping procedures, and adhering to safety guidelines
• Verify and record product identification
• Reconcile coil identity for production and load coil
• Ensure material is loaded onto lines and fed into production equipment in accordance with all safety policies and quality procedures
• Make necessary adjustments to ensure material tracking/stacking
• Perform in‑process visual inspection
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

• Ability to use computers, read tape measures, micrometers, and calipers
• Dependability in attendance, work completion, and flexibility to meet business needs
• Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to work outside normal business hours/days as needed
• Able to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the company
• Able to read and comprehend simple work instructions, work orders, short correspondence, and memos written in English
• Able to write simple correspondence in English

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Industry knowledge and experience (a plus)

• The noise level in the work environment is usually medium to high
