Edsal was founded and operated as a family-owned and operated business on Chicago's South Side for over 60 years before being acquired by Monomoy Capital Partners in 2018. We continue operating sites throughout the United States in Illinois, Indiana, Pennsylvania, and California.

Summary of Position: Responsible for keeping the production lines moving by performing a variety of manual duties to assemble, check and package products. Position rotates through production lines.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist in the assembly or preparation of products on the production line, ensuring items are completed accurately and efficiently. Feed material into designated machines
• Monitor products for quality and consistency, reporting any defects or issues to the supervisor.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Help with inventory counts and restocking supplies as needed, ensuring that materials are available for uninterrupted production.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including regular cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and surfaces.
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and resolve any issues that arise during operations.
• Duties/tasks as assigned

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• OJT, previous experience in a factory/plant/warehouse a plus
• Ability to operate machinery or equipment safely
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects as needed.
