Parts Counter Sales - 2nd Shift

Overview

Midwest Transit Equipment, Inc. seeks a Full Time Parts Inside Sales for our new Gary, IN location. This position will train at our South Holland location until we open in Gary in the fall.

This is a 2nd Shift position working Monday - Friday, 2pm - 10:30pm.

We are looking for Parts Counter Clerk. This position assists customers with parts inquiries. They also work with the Outside Parts Sales Reps for parts ordering.

• Update existing Work Orders
• Update 360 System with notes
• Identify needs parts using most efficient method
• Operate forklift to pull parts from inventory
• Maintain accurate inventory by updating company inventory system
• Cycle Count of Parts Warehouse
• Receive inventory into computer system and put away in proper location
• Other duties as assigned

• High School degree or equivalent
• Parts Department experience
• Mechanical aptitude or experience in automotive or truck mechanics
• Forklift certification preferred
• Ability to lift at least 25-50 pounds
