Account Manager – Northern Indiana
We are seeking an Account Manager to manage and grow businesses across the Northern Indiana territory
. This field‑based role focuses on selling a full portfolio of industrial solutions, including service, replacement parts, new equipment, and preventative maintenance (PM) contracts
, into manufacturing and large industrial environments.
The Account Manager serves as a trusted advisor to customers, working closely with internal service and operations teams to deliver a seamless experience throughout the equipment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and expand relationships with manufacturing and large industrial customers across Northern Indiana
- Sell a mix of service work, parts, equipment, and PM agreements
- Identify customer needs related to reliability, uptime, and long‑term system performance
- Develop new opportunities within existing accounts and through targeted prospecting
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution from sale through service delivery
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer communication, follow‑up, and issue resolution
- Maintain organized territory planning, documentation, and account activity
- Experience in outside sales or account management within an industrial or technical setting
- Proven ability to sell service‑based solutions in addition to physical products
- Mechanical or technical aptitude; experience with industrial equipment preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage maintenance teams, engineers, and plant leadership
- Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently in a field‑based role
- Excellent organization, time management, and problem‑solving skills
- Familiarity with CRM systems and standard business software
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally within the Northern Indiana territory
