Exclusive Caring Partners is dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in both residential and community settings. Our team provides compassionate, person-centered care that promotes independence, dignity, and meaningful engagement in everyday life.

We are seeking dedicated Direct Support Staff to provide care and support to individuals during weekend shifts in a group home or home-like setting. Staff will assist with daily routines, personal care, and community involvement, while ensuring safety and well-being. This role requires completion of all required documentation and effective implementation of goals outlined in each individual s Person-Centered Plan (PCP).

Available Shifts - This position is for every other weekend (Friday - Sunday)

• Weekend 1st Shift (Morning): 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Weekend 2nd Shift (Afternoon): 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Weekend 3rd Shift (Overnight): 9:00 PM – 9:00 AM

• Support individuals with daily living activities including dressing, bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Assist with medication administration and monitor medical concerns such as seizures, allergies, and adaptive equipment use.
• Participate in recreational and community activities, including swimming and family events.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and incidents.
• Advocate for residents and support their personal goals and outcomes.
• Ensure safety and supervision at all times, protecting individuals from hazards.
• Assist with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and minor repairs.
• Attend staff meetings and complete all required trainings.
• Provide transportation as needed, only when individuals are unable to do so independently.

• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs, stoop, bend, walk up to two miles, and perform household tasks.
• Adequate visual and audio acuity to supervise residents and respond to emergencies.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to perform basic math functions and maintain accurate records.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience and no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Current auto insurance policy.
• Ability to work in a group home or home-like setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must maintain all state-required certifications (CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration, etc.).
• At least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Must successfully complete all required training prior to placement.

• Hourly Pay: $13.00 – $15.00
• $15.00 rate for applicants with an Associates or Bachelors Degree and at least 2 years of experience with IDD/MH/DD.
• This is a contract position and does not include benefits.
