Property Attendant at Wood Spring Suites in Gastonia, NC!

Hotel Management & Consulting, Inc. is seeking a hands‑on Property Attendant who is a committed team player, flexible, and willing to complete multiple hotel responsibilities. Duties include general preventative maintenance, cleaning public areas, prepping rooms for housekeeping, and assisting with laundry duties. The position is on‑site and includes overnight call coverage to oversee the property after hours.

• Hourly Rate: $16.00 – $18.00, dependent on experience.

• Maintenance:
  Manage work orders timely, perform preventive maintenance (shampooing carpets, cleaning floors, light electrical and plumbing work, janitorial tasks, parking lot upkeep, trash cleanup, PTAC cleaning, drywall repair, painting, caulking, etc.).
• Inventory:
  Maintain and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and tools, order items as needed.
• Housekeeping:
  Pre‑prep rooms for housekeepers—remove linens, trash, move furniture, assess maintenance needs.
• Emergency Procedures:
  Follow property emergency procedures and ensure security for guests and property.
• Guest Services:
  Assist with late check‑in/out, provide customer service, and address guest needs.
• On‑call:
  Be on call overnight for after‑hours guest needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Repetitive stair climbing and occasional ladder use.
• Tasks involving kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting for long periods.
• Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lb.
