Catalog and Content Specialist – Job Description
This is an Onsite/Hybrid position based at our location in Gastonia, NC. No Visa sponsorship is available for this position. We are looking for a Catalog and Content Specialist to lead product information accuracy and catalog operations for the Independent Automotive Aftermarket. This role ensures that all product data in our Product Information Management (PIM) system and across external catalogs is accurate, complete, and optimized for ACES/PIES standards and Tec Doc requirements.
The Catalog and Content Specialist will drive time-to-range improvements, maintain market coverage, and support data enrichment initiatives to keep our customers and partners informed with the most reliable product information.
- Own and maintain the Product Information Management (PIM) system, ensuring data integrity, attribute completeness, and taxonomy alignment
- Define and enforce data standards aligned with ACES/PIES and Tec Doc specifications
- Coordinate product onboarding and attribute enrichment for new and existing SKUs
- Oversee catalog publishing including digital assets to all internal and external platforms, ensuring zero-defect releases and timely updates
- Manage mappings and exports for ACES XML, PIES XML, and Tec Doc formats
- Monitor and resolve data quality issues across all channels
- Track and improve coverage metrics (applications, fitment, and competitive benchmarks)
- Collaborate with Product Development to accelerate time-to-market for new products
- Work closely with Data Analysts to coordinate data scraping and data gathering activities for enrichment
- Provide training and documentation for PIM processes and catalog standards
- Manage requirements for PIM data model, functions, export / import capabilities related to the North American market - in collaboration with the global product owner
- High School diploma, or GED
- 3+ years in Product Information Management (PIM), Catalog Coordination, or Product Data roles within the automotive aftermarket
- Strong knowledge of and with ACES/PIES standards
- Experience coordinating PIM systems and multi-channel catalog distribution
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Familiarity with Tec Doc standards
- Familiarity with SQL, data validation, and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Understanding of automotive application data and fitment logic
