LHH is seeking a Warehouse Operations Leader for a direct hire position in Gastonia, NC. This leadership role is critical for maintaining operational excellence, driving process improvements, and fostering collaboration across the organization.

• Oversee daily warehouse activities, ensuring streamlined processes and optimal resource utilization.
• Maintain accurate inventory through audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation efforts.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and tracking of all materials, tools, and equipment.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Coordinate delivery schedules to support seven internal divisions, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
• Collaborate with fleet management to track vehicle usage, maintenance, and compliance.
• Address delivery challenges promptly, resolving scheduling conflicts and minimizing delays.
• Manage and mentor a team across multiple sites.
• Set clear objectives, communicate expectations, and provide constructive feedback.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct performance reviews and support professional growth initiatives.
• Uphold OSHA standards and company safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
• Ensure proper use of equipment, tools, and protective gear.
• Maintain adherence to all regulatory and internal operational guidelines.
• Partner with departments such as Production, Purchasing, and Field Operations to align warehouse activities with organizational goals.
• Contribute to strategic planning discussions and offer insights on logistics and distribution processes.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and improved interdepartmental communication.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or operations leadership
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams and oversee daily operations
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems and inventory control practices
• Knowledge of safety standards and best practices
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field preferred
• Experience managing multiple locations preferred
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
