LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Operations Leader – Warehousing & Logistics to oversee the daily operations of two warehouse facilities and support multi-division delivery logistics for a well-established and rapidly growing organization. About the Role

The Operations Leader will manage warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics coordination while leading a team of 10–14 warehouse and delivery professionals. This individual will also play a key role in cross‑functional planning, safety compliance, and process improvement initiatives as the company continues to expand its operational footprint.

Warehouse & Inventory Operations

• Oversee daily operations of two warehouse facilities, ensuring efficiency and organization.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation processes.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and tracking of materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Monitor operational KPIs and implement continuous improvement strategies.

Logistics & Delivery Coordination

• Plan, coordinate, and manage delivery schedules supporting multiple business divisions.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to job sites and internal departments.
• Partner with fleet operations to monitor vehicle usage, maintenance, and compliance.
• Resolve delivery issues and proactively address scheduling conflicts.

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse and logistics professionals across multiple locations.
• Communicate expectations, goals, and performance standards clearly.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching.

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce OSHA and company safety policies.
• Oversee proper use of tools, equipment, and PPE.
• Ensure all warehouse processes meet regulatory and internal compliance standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with Production, Purchasing, Facilities, and Field Operations.
• Participate in operational planning meetings and provide insights on warehouse and logistics needs.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve communication company-wide.

Required

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or operations management.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and daily operations.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze data, improve processes, and troubleshoot issues.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and standard inventory practices.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and warehouse safety regulations.

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or related field.
• Experience in construction, HVAC, manufacturing, or service-based industries.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
