Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and products using various welding techniques. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of welding principles, be proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings, and possess a keen eye for detail to ensure the quality of the finished product.
This position requires physical strength, dexterity, and a commitment to safety protocols.
- Perform welding tasks using different techniques such as MIG (Metal Inert Gas), to join or repair metal components.
- Interpret and follow technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to ensure accurate and precise fabrication.
- Set up and operate welding equipment, including selecting proper welding tools, gases, and wire or electrode materials.
- Inspect materials for defects and ensure they meet required specifications before starting the welding process.
- Clean, prepare, and arrange metal surfaces to be welded, removing any impurities or contaminants.
- Conduct welding tests to assess the quality of welds and make necessary adjustments to achieve optimal results.
- Maintain welding equipment by performing regular maintenance and repairs.
- Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.
- Monitor inventory of welding materials and report any shortages or needed supplies to the supervisor.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in Welding.
- Proven experience as a Welder or similar role in metal fabrication.
- Familiarity with reading technical drawings and blueprints.
- Must be familiar with machines and the use of tips, nozzles and other machine issues.
- Ability to operate and maintain welding equipment effectively.

- Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various positions, including standing, kneeling, and bending for extended periods.
- Excellent hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to adhere to safety standards.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot welding issues.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- A “disabled veteran” is one of the following:
