Spiral Technician

Pay: $20.33/hr

Shift: 3rd shift 11pm - 7am

Must be willing to work overtime when needed

While reporting to the shift supervisor you will work in production for our tube and core division and be responsible for working in a quick and safe manner. Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success. You must have a proven record of success in a fast-paced environment. You must have the ability to work with various teams and have a good eye to spot defects in the packing line.

You will take pride in your personal hands-on and analytical abilities, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

What you'll be doing:

• This position will be required to learn and assist all required machines and support 17' winder equipment set ups.
• Mechanical skills to operate, set up, and trouble shoot equipment as required will also be needed.
• Ability to operate cutter.
• This team member will also be required to perform machine preventative maintenance on various pieces of equipment related to the carpet yarn line.
• The technician position will require proficiency level to operate machine on a substitute basis.

• Report and track production information - scrap, machine efficiency, machine down time, paper usage.
• Assist other crew members as required - set ups, packaging aspects, quality requirements, and all other related production specs.

Ability to document and maintain machine log. Reporting of quality measurements.
