Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift

The Maintenance Mechanic will oversee the performance and maintenance of large production machinery, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure continuous operation.

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Clean, organize, inventory, and maintain shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies.
• Oil and lubricate moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance.
• Record and report damaged, worn, or broken parts.
• Obtain quotes, purchase, and install replacement parts for machines.
• Identify causes of unexpected breakdowns and repair broken machines quickly and efficiently.
• Prepare reports documenting work performed.
• Coordinate with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines.
• Work safely with low and high voltage equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Some vocational or community college coursework related to mechanical or electrical technology, or equivalent experience.

• Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Works well independently and collaboratively.
• Good communication skills.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced and stressful environment.

• Prolonged periods standing and walking.
• Ability to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
• Ability to visually inspect machines.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
