Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Engineering Shop Technician to join our dynamic team at Mann+Hummel. As an Engineering Shop Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our engineering and manufacturing processes by providing technical assistance, operating machinery, and ensuring the efficient functioning of our engineering shop.
Main Tasks Your ProfileEducation and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in engineering or a related field is a plus
- 3-5 years’ experience as Manufacturing Assembly Technician or a shop technician or similar role in a production environment
- Proficient in operating and maintaining a variety of assembly tools and machinery
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, the ability to read technical drawings, and measurement skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Proven ability to work with various software applications:
Word processing and spreadsheet programs (MS Office) - Proven work experience as a Manufacturing Assembly Technician or a similar role
Skills:
- Familiarity with filtration products
- Experience in prototyping is a plus
- Proficiency in CNC machining parts
- Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software
