Position: Registered Nurse (Overnight FT)

Registered Nurse (RN) – Full-Time Overnight

📍 Freedom Detox – Gastonia, NC

💰 Pay: $35 – $39 per hour + $1.50 overnight shift differential

Full-time | Overnight shifts

What You’ll Do

• Provide medical oversight and leadership for LPNs and support staff during overnight hours.
• Complete initial nursing assessments for all new admissions.
• Administer medications and manage withdrawal protocols in accordance with physician orders.
• Conduct COWS and CIWA assessments per policy and update documentation accurately.
• Educate clients about their medications and provide emotional and clinical support throughout detox.
• Collaborate with medical providers and the treatment team for ongoing assessment and medication management.
• Maintain medical supplies, ensure equipment readiness, and follow infection control procedures.
• Uphold all Pyramid Healthcare and Freedom Detox standards, trainings, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• Current CPR/BLS and First Aid certification.
• Experience in behavioral health, detox, or substance use treatment preferred.
• Familiarity with co-occurring disorders a plus.
