Clinic RN

Join Firsthealth of the Carolinas and help us in our mission to become the best place to work in healthcare. Our busy, state-of-the-art Cardiology clinic is seeking a skilled and highly motivated RN to join our team to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced work environment.

• Communicates effectively with a wide range of age groups, ethnic, educational and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Demonstrates physical assessment skills. Displays effective organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize with accuracy and speed.
• Demonstrates efficient computer skills within service provided.
• Exhibits effective problem solving and critical thinking skills. Maintains clinical and professional competency levels required of age-specific populations.
• Obtains basic vital signs, 12-Lead ECGs, and reviews pertinent health information with patients. Monitors lab results and reports to the physician.
• Triages patient phone calls. Manages prescription refills/requests.
• Receives incoming referrals and schedules patient appointments per clinic guidelines.

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing with a current North Carolina RN license or RN multi-state licensure privilege through the Nurse Licensure Compact. BSN preferred.
• Three years clinic/medical-surgical nursing experience required. Minimum two (2) years nursing experience in cardiology preferred. ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Computer skills including Epic, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams preferred.
