The Server position at Morningside of Gastonia is a full‑time role that requires welcoming residents and guests while ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness.
Responsibilities- Take meal/drink orders and serve meals in a friendly and timely manner
- Ensure residents and guests are satisfied with their meals
- Maintain knowledge of all specials and a description of all food items
- Keep all side stations and dining areas clean and stocked
- Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules
- Practice safety and loss prevention procedures
- Set up and clean the dining room, maintaining or exceeding hospitality and service standards
- Enjoy working with seniors
- Interact respectfully with guests, residents and staff
- Respond promptly to resident needs
- Balance team and individual responsibilities
- Work flexible hours, including weekends
