Responsibilities:
- Must be able to travel
- Ability to lift over 70 pounds
- Operate trucks, trailers, and transport equipment
- Complete and pass COMTRAIN and NWSA certifications, along with other required training
- Climb & work proficiently on towers 100ft+ in various weather conditions
- Read and understand construction drawings, RFDS, and SOW documents
- Use PIM / Sweep Test Gear and connector tools for coax installation
- Install coax / fiber trunks and antennas, set RETs, Down tilts, Azimuths
- Collect, assemble, and submit closeout documentation
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, staff, and supervisors
- Record and report daily project requirements accurately
- Demonstrate strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Oversee team activities in tower construction and testing, including installation and testing of antennas, coax, grounding, and optimization
- Perform installation of RF and antenna system components, knowledge of carrier site upgrades and civil works
- Responsible for Capstan operations, crane/signaling, rigging, steel work, and azimuth shooting
- Use PPE in compliance with EHS and OSHA standards
- Maintain equipment and vehicles
- Complete daily paperwork and closeout documentation
- Provide leadership, guidance, and training to crew members
Additional Qualifications:
- TT1/TTII/NWSA Certification
- Sweep, PIM, and Fiber Certifications
- Expertise with testing equipment (e.g., Anritsu, Fiber testers, PIM, RET)
- Ability to process RFDS and read construction drawings
- Construction skills, rigging, safety, and industry knowledge
Skills Required:
- Verbal and electronic communication skills
- Ability to understand written and verbal instructions
- Good judgment and decision-making skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
- Proficiency in reading construction drawings, RF data sheets, electrical concepts
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Provide daily direction to the tower team
- Collaborate with operations manager on performance goals
- Organize workflow and delegate tasks
- Maintain a safe work environment
