The Fire Alarm Technician will install, service, inspect, and repair alarm wiring and equipment, requiring fire alarm programming experience and knowledge of fire suppression systems.

• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as control panels, initiating devices, notification devices, and electrical wiring.
• Install and program new and existing fire alarm and suppression systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with alarms and suppression systems.
• Pull wire, install raceways, mount, and program control panels.
• Identify risks to customers and provide effective solutions.
• Monitor inventory of service parts.
• Create and submit inspection reports and expense reports.

• Fire alarm programming experience required.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Previous experience in fire installation, maintenance, or related fields.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Ability to handle a physical workload, including moving equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Strong troubleshooting and critical‑thinking skills.
• Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management, and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to use a tablet.
• Flexibility to work overtime and some overnight travel.
• 2–5 years of experience preferred.
• NICET certification preferred but not required.
• Must pass a drug test.
