Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician position at Moore's Electrical & Mechanical in Virginia and North Carolina.

Position OverviewPerform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics of HVAC/R systems in commercial settings to ensure efficient operation and optimal performance of our clients’ systems.
Responsibilities- Service and maintain a wide range of commercial HVAC/R systems.
- Respond promptly to service calls and troubleshoot issues with HVAC/R systems.
- Utilize diagnostic tools, meters, and gauges to analyze system performance and identify root causes of problems.
- Develop effective solutions to resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
- Communicate findings and recommended solutions to clients in a clear and concise manner.
- Complete necessary paperwork with company‑issued laptop/tablet.
- Foster positive relationships with clients by delivering excellent customer service and demonstrating a high level of professionalism.
- Participate in an on‑call rotation.
- Safely drive company vehicle, follow the requirements of the company vehicle driving policy, and adhere to all safety requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or vocational training in HVAC/R is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Service Technician, focusing on troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing HVAC/R systems.
- Universal EPA certification.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
- Solid understanding of electrical circuits and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools, meters, gauges, and other equipment to assess system performance and diagnose issues.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check.
- Weekly paychecks – $25 – $45/hr based on experience and skill set.
