Role Overview
As a Traffic Safety Protectoryou will work with a team at various job sites to ensure traffic control and safety. No prior experience or degree is required, as comprehensive training and support are provided. Your primary responsibilities include
- setting up cones, signs, and barricades, and dismantling traffic control equipment
- guiding traffic with stop/slow paddles while monitoring site activity
- adhering to all safety protocols learned during training
- communicating effectively with crew and supervisors
- maintaining cleanliness and safety of vehicles and equipment
include a valid driver’s license, ability to stand, walk, and lift 40-50 pounds outdoors in any weather, and flexibility to work in traffic environments. Candidates must pass pre-hire screening, including drug testing, and consistently follow safety rules while respecting coworkers and the public.
Key Skillsinvolve safety awareness, teamwork, adaptability, physical stamina, and punctuality.
Compensation and Benefitsinclude hourly pay ($17.50–$18.25), overtime opportunities, paid training, and a traffic safety certificate.
